THE WEST COAST GET DOWN SESSIONS

Miles Mosley and the West Coast Get Down entered King Size Soundlabs Studio A charged with the task of completing 8 records in 27 days.

The days ranged from full 9-piece live band recordings to smaller sessions of choir, horns and strings.

The West Coast Get Down (WCGD) is a collective of Los Angeles musicians, each their own composer, arranger, performer and instrumentalist.

Tirelessly engineered by Tony Austin and moved forward with a host of producers each record had its’ own sound tailor-designed to it.

When the dust settled and the hard drive was finally ejected on January 4th, there were 125 songs recorded for 8 different projects.

We look forward to hearing all of that music, and seeing it saunter off into the worlds of radio, film, television, video games and other media markets.

The “West Coast Get Down” is an umbrella project and collective that includes:

Tony Austin
Ryan Porter

Cameron Graves
