Kingsize Soundlabs June News

We are entering the summer months in full force here at Kingsize Soundlabs!

Two very big albums that defined a lot of our memories from 2015 were released within the past few weeks. First up, letlive‘s new LP “If I’m The Devil…” recorded right here in Studio A. You can read more about the production and recording of the album in this nice write-up by Total Guitar.

Secondly, the triumphant return of Tiger Army with their first LP since 2007, titled “V •••–“, engineered and produced by the impeccable Ted Hutt. Recorded and mixed in both Kingsize’s A and V7 studios.

Laura Jean Anderson was in Studio A with producer/engineer Max Moon back in April to shoot this gorgeous live performance.

Finally, we are proud to announce our new Highland Park location 64Sound, operated by our very own Pierre de Reeder, will begin its first sessions this coming week. We are extremely excited to offer this classic 70’s recording space and full details are coming soon. It boasts a sizable wood drum room, vintage MCI console, and a slew of legendary and unique microphones, instruments, and outboard gear. Be sure to follow our Instagram for more sneak-peaks.
